Privacy is important. This policy applies to all Viewbook websites, products, services, and content offered by Viewbook B.V. (“Viewbook”) including by not limited to Viewbook (www.viewbook.com).
Information we collect and how we use it
- Information you provide – Viewbook collects personal information (e.g. name, email, and passwords) when you register for an Viewbook service or otherwise voluntarily provide such information. For certain services, we may also request credit card and billing information. We may combine personal information from you from other Viewbook services to provide a better experience.
- Log information – Viewbook services automatically record information when you visit our website or use our products, including the URL, IP address, and the date and time of your request and cookies that may uniquely identify your browser.
- User communications – When you send email or other communications to Viewbook, we retain those communications in order to process inquires, respond to your requests, and improve our services.
Viewbook uses collected information for the following general purposes: products and service provisioning, billing, identification and authentication, service improvement, contact, and research.
Viewbook may disclose personally identifiable information under special circumstances, such as to comply with subpoenas, or when your actions violate the Terms of service.
It may be necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding suspected or actual illegal activities, including, without limitation: fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, or as otherwise permitted or required by law.
We may share aggregated non-personal information with third parties.
- We make good faith efforts to provide you access to your personal information upon request and let you correct such data if it is inaccurate and delete it, when reasonably possible.
We take reasonable precautions to protect against unauthorized access to our unauthorized alteration, disclosure, or destruction of data. These include the use of encryption technology when collecting, transmitting, and storing sensitive data.
In compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998, Viewbook does not willingly collect or use personally identifiable information from anyone under 13 years of age.
Information Collection and Use Practices
You can choose to make your images, presentations and web pages public for anyone to access, restrict access to a limited number of people of your choice, or keep those images, presentations and web pages private so only you can access them.
Practices Regarding Your Ability to Update or Delete Information
You can delete individual images, presentations and web pages that you have on Viewbook by selecting the images, presentations and web pages that you wish to delete and by dropping them on the Trash icon. Visit your Viewbook account information area to edit your profile settings.
